December 01, 1942 Blythewood SC court reporter Married Was a teacher of art and German for 12 years, worked in newspaper paste-up for a short while, ran my own audit and inspection for insurance company for many years. Have done extensive art/picture framing and retail photography sales. Now, semi-retired and working at the SS disability hearing office.

May 10, 1943 Winter Haven FL Retired Single 4 Purdy 1 room school house. Enfield and Immaculate Conception Boynton IHS I dropped out of school in May of 1961 and married Wayne Arthur. We had 4 children and I stayed at home for a few years then divorced Wayne and went to work at Victory Markets, Ithaca Gun. From 1972 to 1992 I worked as a Home Health Aide. Got my GED in 1968. Graduated from Glendale Commuinity College in 1999.
I have had a good life.  My family were farmers and I am a down to earth family person.  Ed Sullivan and I were together from 1976 to his death in Jan 2013.  We lived in Freeville until his retirement in 1995 moving to Phoenix AZ then to Winter Haven FL in 2001 where I still live.  I have 6 grand children and 2 Great grandchildren.  Would love to hear from my high school friends.

August 27, 1943 Ithaca NY residential counselor & musician Single 1 Central (K), Immaculate Conception(1-8) Immaculate Conception IHS I've been playing saxophone in bands for over 50 years. Played probably close to 7,000 gigs.

For around 12 years I was in business with my dad, an Italian restaurant, The Old Villa.

I went to TC3 twice, then Ithaca College and got a BS in communications. Then went to Liberty Univ. for an MA.

I spent years as a sports writer and researcher ( a stringer ) for national magazines and newspapers.

Have lived continuously in Ithaca which was voted the second smartest city in the country.

Now a counselor at William George Agency, formerly George Jr. Republic.
 Looking forward to playing Friday night at the reunion for all our classmates.

October 24, 1943 North Oaks MN Professor Married 1 Belle Sherman Boynton Boynton Left in 10th grade for a school with less interesting classmates (e.g. no girls); returned to Ithaca for college; 2 years later left again for a year in Beirut, Lebanon; came back to Ithaca, met Ellen, and graduated from Cornell. Then was a Peace Corps Volunteer in a Libyan desert village for 2 years and discovered teaching. Spent the following year in Tripoli, Libya, and Ellen and I married, then a stint in Washington working for the Peace Corps. Next stop was graduate school at Indiana University, which yielded a son, degrees, and a job at the University of Minnesota political science department. Have been here 33 years. Ellen is a lawyer. Our son is a Foreign Service Officer. He, our marvelous daughter in law, and two grandchildren currently live in Africa. Professionally have put more effort into teaching than publishing. 1990-2001 spent 4 semesters in Turkey, and Istanbul became our second home until grandchildren deflected our travel from the Middle East to Africa.

January 30, 1943 Makawao HI Teacher Divorced 1 Kingsbury Elementary- Memphis, TN Boynton Junior High School Boynton Since high school, I graduated from Cornell U in 1965 with a B.A. in English and an education certificate. Became a secondary teacher near New York, met and married fellow teacher, Sam Loughridge and became a mom to Sabrina. Moved to a snowy ski chalet on Pico Peak a few miles from Rutland, lived in S. Burlington, Vergennes, and Charlotte, Vermont. Got two more degrees- one in Art. Ed. and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Vt. Continued to teach for 14 years in the public schools- English, Art, and Counseling.
In 85, got involved in a teacher strike, moved to St. John, in the Virgin Islands, Lived in the Caribbean for 4 years. Mom became ill, moved back to U.S. to take care of her. Got yoga certification at Kripalu Center before moving to Santa Barbara, CA. where I taught at Santa Barbara City College and Bacara Spa and Resort. I lived at La Casa De Maria Retreat Center, and wrote a book on hiking. (I have moved 43 times in my life.)
I have 3 grandchildren, ages 5, 16, and 21. In 2004, I moved to Maui, Hawaii. My mom passed away in 2005, and I have made Maui my permanent home. I love travel, In the last six years, I have gone to New Zealand, Australia, Tahiti, Vancouver, Canada, Colorado and Idaho.
At present, I teach yoga, lead hikes, and volunteer for Hospice. I look forward to this reunion. I think it will be a kick to see everyone after 50 years

August 17, 1943 Clinton UT Retired Married 3 After Graduation I went to work at a Printing company in Ithaca. I was supposed to be a printer's apprentice but that didn't happen as the driver that delivered the printed material quit and they wanted be to be the driver. I decided to find another job, I went to work at National Cash register and left there in August to enlist in the Navy. Boot camp was at Great Lakes.

September 02, 1943 Oxford MD Committed Relationship 1 Having Fun!!! After a taste of skiing and sailing in Ithaca and a BS from Penn State, I spent the 1st 20 years sailing the Chesapeake and selling skis. Skied the last 20 years in Vail, Colorado selling popcorn and sailed from Antigua to Nova Scotia. More fun to come!

March 17, 1943 Ithaca NY Retired Helicopter Pilot/USMCR Married After a few on and off years I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Superior in 1968. I had a good record for Superior as a wrestler. I became a conference champion, placing in the state tournment with a fifth place in the nationals becoming an All American, and being inducted in the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001. In September of 1968 I completed Officer Canidate School for the United States Marine Corps. I then started flight school to become a Naval Aviator receiving my gold wings in June of 1970. After training in the CH-53 helicopter in Jacksonville, NC I received orders to Marble Mountain in the Republic of Vietnam and finished my overseas tour in Japan as a Forward Air Controller with the 3rd Bat. 4th Marines. I than received orders back to Jacksonville, NC and finished my active duty career in March of 1974. I than returned to Ithaca and purchased a bar in Dryden, (Tweitmans) Big Mistake. Two years and loosing the bar I joined the Marine Reserves at Willow Grove, PA and moved to the Pittsburgh area for a helicopter job. After flying for several coal companies I went to work for Corporate Jets Inc. in April of 1984 flying Emergency Medical Helicopters. I held positions as Line Pilot, Chief Pilot, Director of Helicopter Operation and my last seven years with CJ as VP of Operations. I retired from Corporate Jets in March of 2006. I also retired from the Marine Corps Reserves in June of 1990 as a Colonel, doing my last two years as the Commanding Office of the Marine Air Support Detachment at NAS Andrews Washington, DC. With my wife Sandra Collins of Dryden whom I met in 1976, married in 1980, we moved back to Ithaca to retire. The time seems to have gone by quickly and it has been a great ride.
