I have two wonderful grandchildren: Sophia and Lydia.
I have spent all my life dancing and making dances
as described below (from a program bio).
I look forward to seeing many of you at the next reunion.

Beth Soll has been making dances since 1965 and has choreographed more than 125 works. As a soloist and with her company, she has performed in much of the United States and in Europe and Asia. She received her early training from Romanian modern dancers Iris Barbura and Vergiu Cornea. Later she continued her studies in the European style of dance at the Essenvolkwangschule, the Kreutzbergschule in Switzerland, and the University of Wisconsin, where she earned a degree in modern dance. She has held faculty positions at the University of Wisconsin, the Boston Conservatory, Boston University, the Harvard Summer Dance Center, MIT (where she directed the Dance Program for 20 years), UC Santa Barbara, Hofstra University, the New School, Manhattanville College, and many private organizations. She has performed with dance companies in the Midwest and in Boston, and she has collaborated or danced with many independent choreographers, including Frances Alenikoff, Ze'eva Cohen, Bill Evans, Martha Gray, Ina Hahn, Anna Nassif, Rosalind Newman, Wendy Perron, and Mel Wong. For her work, Soll has received 7 Choreography Fellowships and many Dance Company Grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, awards from the Artists’ Foundation, and grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Boston Arts Lottery, the New England Foundation for the Arts, the Polaroid Foundation, the Boston Globe Foundation, the Bossak/Heilbron Charitable Foundation, and the Lef Foundation. She is currently an adjunct professor at Manhattanville College and Empire State College, and she teaches ESL at NYU and Columbia University. Her book, "Will Modern Dance Survive? August 25, 1943 Cedaredge CO Retired from USGS Single Again West Hill Boynton Boynton Joined the Navy right after IHS. Upon return to Ithaca I began a career with US Geological Survey in water resources. Stayed with USGS for 37 years retiring in 2004. Transfered many times: NY, CA, NY, SC and finally Kentucky.

Married Nancy Schmitt, IHS 1970, in 1981. We had two children Kelly and Kevin. Divorced in 2000. Now have two grandchildren.

Upon retirement I hit the road in a full-time RV lifestyle. I really enjoy the travel as it allows me a constant change of scenery, weather and neighbors. I enjoy adventure travel, mountain biking, canoeing, photography and good beer.
Looking forward to the Class of 61 reunion.  It will be my first time back in New York in about 17 years.  Thanks to all who have worked so hard to get the reunion in order.

Update 2012:  in the process of moving to Colorado, new address listed above. Still traveling full time until I find a home. After eight years living on the road I am finally ready to settle down, though it's pretty scary taking on a mortgage at my age.

February 12, 1943 Novato CA Psychiatrist davidabrownemd.com Committed Relationship 2 Belle Sherman Boynton Boynton I thought that was the box above! While at Boynton, Paul Wolfowitz, Tom Rawski, Peter Storandt and I drove our bikes around Cayuga Lake. An attempt to break a time record of another group ended in disaster for me when I wrecked my bike half way around. About 4 years ago, I was driving along the lake to visit my mother and I was struck by it's beauty. I asked the originals if they wanted to repeat the trip which Paul and I did on a beautiful summer day (actually one and 1/4 days.
After attending Cornell and Cornell Medical School I moved to California for a psychiatric residency in San Francisco. There were 2 years in the Army (Berry Plan) and since have been practicing psychiatry, mostly in Novato,California since 1976. I married Leslie Miller (IHS class 1965) and after several years began a relationship with Joy Fillman. We have 2 lovely children: Caitlin, a Brown graduate and Fulbright scholar and Jesse, who is very popular for his computer skills with a computer game company.
